Certification listings, prices and filter specs change constantly. We re-check them, and we still miss things. If you spot an error, we want to hear about it.

- If it is wrong, we fix the page and update its evidence date.
- If the error touched a health, safety, certification or price claim, we add it to the log below rather than editing quietly.
- We reply to whoever reported it.

What we had wrong: NSF P473 described as the current PFAS certification
NSF folded the P473 method into NSF/ANSI 53 and 58 and removed the standalone protocol. Every reference was rewritten to name the standard a product actually holds, and to say whether PFAS is on that certification at all.

What we had wrong: Listed as certified to NSF/ANSI P473, 42, 53, 244, 401 and 473
The pitcher is certified to NSF/ANSI 42 and 372. Its PFAS numbers come from independent lab testing, not from a certification. Both are now stated separately.

What we had wrong: Filter life stated as 10,000 gallons
The maker rates it at 2,000 gallons. The wrong figure had also been used to calculate a cost per gallon, so that maths was removed too.

What we had wrong: Priced at $279 to $349
The system sells for $759 against a $999 list price. Every page carrying the old range was corrected.

What we had wrong: Wastewater described as 3 gallons drained per gallon filtered
A 3:1 pure-to-drain ratio means about three parts clean water to one part drain. The claim was backwards.

What we had wrong: Described as catalytic carbon and KDF, 1,000,000 gallons, up to 9 GPM
The current PFAS system uses ATOMUS PF8 media, is rated at 350,000 gallons and 7 GPM. The old product URL returned a 404.

What we had wrong: Phrases such as "we tested" and "every filter lab-tested"
We do not run laboratory tests. All such wording was replaced with what actually happened: reviewed, or sourced from a certification, an accredited lab, or the maker.

What we had wrong: The 2031 compliance date stated as settled
The enforceable compliance date is April 2029. The extension to 2031 is proposed and not final. Proposed and final rules are now shown separately.

Two Amazon products and three maker product pages had gone dead. All five were repaired against verified live destinations.
